About Us
We are a family friendly mixed NHS and Private dental practice in Grays in Essex with exceptional dentists providing excellent dental care and customer service including a specialist in periodontics (gum disease/recession) and implants, oral surgeon (extractions) dentist with special interest in root canal treatment.
We offer routine examinations, emergency appointments, fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures, hygiene, tooth whitening, Invisalign, periodontics (gum disease/recession) and implants.
We are conveniently located a short walk from Grays town centre and station on the corner of Orsett Road and Park View Gardens, with a free car park at the rear accessible via Park View Gardens.

Zohra graduated as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from King’s College London Dental Institute, University of London in 2007 and then worked in a Community Dental Service in Buckinghamshire, where she gained experience in treating children and adults with complex medical needs, dental phobias and anxieties. She has also held the position of Senior House Officer at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust within the departments of Maxillo-Facial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. She then worked within the same trust as a Speciality Dentist / Clinical Teacher in Acute Dental Care and Oral Surgery. She gained her Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2009 and continues to be an examiner for the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties examination within the college. She studied for her MClinDent in Periodontology at King’s College and graduated in 2015 whilst also gaining her Membership in Periodontology from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Throughout her training she has gained experience in treating complex cases including placement and restoration of dental implants. She has a particular interest in regeneration procedures to replace missing support of periodontally compromised teeth and the treatment of gingival (gum) recession.

Hasan qualified from St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry and has worked in general practice across London, Essex, Kent and Hampshire. He has completed numerous courses over the years in general and cosmetic dentistry allowing him to provide the very best dentistry to all his patients. As well as general dentistry, his passion lies in creating the best smiles for his patients through Invisalign (clear invisible adult braces), veneers and tooth-coloured restorations. He makes dentistry as comfortable as possible for his patients through his friendly and approachable nature creating a relaxed calm environment. He also volunteers internationally providing emergency dentistry to alleviate dental pain, manage dental trauma and improve quality of life.

Sidra graduated as a dentist from King’s College London university and has worked as a dentist across London and Essex. She enjoys restoring smiles and making patients comfortable/at ease with her calm relaxed nature by building a rapport with them and focusing on prevention of disease. Sidra played a key role in implementing Oral Health Promotion via the Urgent Dental Care and Prevention Programme where she worked closely with patients to help identify key risks with their oral health and how to address these. She has also volunteered at domiciliary to provide dental treatment in care homes. Sidra enjoys promoting health education and has spent time visiting schools delivering oral health care to children whilst also volunteering at charities such as Dental Wellness Trust, Refugee Crisis Foundation and carrying out a year long voluntary project with the British Heart Foundation. Sidra also enjoys teaching and has supervised colleagues enabling them to successfully complete their extended dental duties course and she currently works closely with King’s College London delivering presentations and workshops to help future dental students with their dental careers.

His extensive wealth of experience coupled with his passion to help patients save their teeth believing that natural teeth should be kept for as long as possible allows him to confidently deal with complicated and challenging root canal treatments.

He possesses years of experience working in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at different hospitals across the UK and is currently working as a Speciality Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. He has also worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Rotherham, Montagu, Mexborough, Southend, Broomfield, Colchester, Ipswich and West Suffolk hospitals. He also clinically supervises the dental core trainees in minor oral surgery, theatres and during 2nd on call commitments. He also regularly attends & participates in courses, audits, teachings and presentations in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery conferences around the world to continuously increase his knowledge and skills. He is especially good at dealing with nervous patients and is also sedation trained so can incorporate this into his treatments and has immense experience in treating patients with complex medical backgrounds.

Dr Sugandh Cherian completed her Masters in Oral Surgery at Edinburgh University and Diploma in Enhanced Dental Sciences at Queen Mary University where she gained valuable experience in oral medicine and oral maxillofacial at Royal London Hospital. She then worked in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Romford Queens hospital and is now an oral surgeon at Mid & South Essex and Southend hospitals. She specialises in surgical & non-surgical dental extractions and also has special interest in oral medical conditions such as burning mouth syndrome, oral ulcerations, and Temperomandibular joint pain and can provide oral biopsies. Her friendly approach puts even the most nervous patients at ease and she is also sedation trained so can incorporate this into her treatments and has immense experience in treating patients with complex medical backgrounds.

Anne started her career by training as a Dental Nurse at the Royal London Hospital and then gained a Diploma in Dental Health Education. She then qualified as a Hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital and has since gained a huge amount of experience in treating patients with different oral health needs. She has worked in both mixed dental practices and specialist practices as well as Basildon Hospital treating patients with head and neck cancer and other oral manifestations. As well as looking after patients in practice, she also teaches oral health care to staff in care and nursing homes. Her focus is helping patients achieve a healthier happier mouth and nervous patients gain confidence with their treatment.

She also visits nurseries and schools to encourage and teach children this from a young age as well.
